Warranty length requires certified installation and an annual inspection at our studio; duration is set by the film manufacturer and the coating package, so terms and conditions apply. Front-end and full-body kits are supplied in 8 mil or 10 mil urethane. Thickness is measured on the installed sheet and recorded on the job card. Heavier film resists stone strikes better; the trade-off is a slightly softer edge on tight compound curves.
No. A coating is a chemical layer measured in microns that adds gloss and eases washing. Film is a physical barrier against chips and scratches. On most daily drivers we stack them: film on impact zones, coating over the remaining panels.
A full front kit is 1 working day. Full body PPF is 3 to 5 days, including 72 hours of controlled curing before handover. Ceramic coating alone is 2 days: one for correction, one for application and cure.
Film carries a 10 year warranty against yellowing, cracking and delamination; coating carries 5 years against loss of hydrophobic behaviour. Terms and conditions apply, and both require the recorded maintenance wash schedule. Warranty length is voided by automatic brush washes and abrasive polishing over the film.
Every job starts with inspection, wash and decontamination, then we measure the paint film thickness across each panel. Film should never be laid over a scratch you want gone. Resprayed panels need 30 days to outgas; we schedule accordingly. Results may vary based on paint condition.
Yes. Removal is done with controlled heat so the adhesive releases cleanly, then any residue is lifted with solvent. Expect 4 hours for a full body removal. If the panel was painted after the film was applied, we test a corner first.
